Hello Everyone

I am very interested in regenerative agriculture and wondered if anyone has any online resources they would be able to recommend?

Hi George

While not an expert, I'm a huge fan of regenerative agriculture and design.

Here's a list of regenerative agriculture organisations:

Here's a list of resources:

https://regenerationinternational.org/resources/

And another list that requires you to download a PDF (I haven't done so):

I hope these links help :D

I just read this story in Smithsonian Magazine about regenerative grazing.

It also included a link this documentary about regenerative grazing.

Here's the trailer for Carbon Cowboys:

You can view the full videos on their website:

Adam Thyer, the Carbon Cowboys videos are very inspirational, thanks for sharing.

I have seen quite a lot of information about regenerative grazing but less about regenerative cropping. It seems that the former is very successful in terms of commercial viability, soil health, animal health, ecology, and CO2 sequestration. Can anyone share any information about the efficacy of regenerative cropping?

I've been wondering the same thing. I did a quick search for academic papers looking at the efficacy of regenerative cropping but didn't find any. If anyone knows of any studies, it would be great if you would post them here.

Hi - I think a great source of information on regenerative ag is the book "Biomimicry" by Janine Benyus and the Biomimicry Institute which you can join and even take classes for free I believe.
Another great resource stateside is The Land Institute, they are heavily focused on moving away from monoculture annual crops towards more polyculture / perennial crops. Ya know, as nature intended it to be...

I recommend this short 15 mins film about the work of Ernst Goetsch in Brazil - it's truly impactful and eye-opening, no matter if you have previous interest in agroforestry or not: https://youtu.be/gSPNRu4ZPvE

YouTube has a decent number of videos about regenerative agriculture. Some are just the general concepts for non experts, but others are by farmers for farmers. Try some terms like, "regenerative agriculture", "regenerative farming", "regenerative grazing", "sustainable agriculture", "sustainable farming", "sustainable grazing".
